Using an evidence-based approach, solidly grounded in research, ICCT contribute to support Iraq in its attempts to strengthen its counterterrorism and countering and preventing violent extremism policies, by offering adviceon a wide variety of focus areas covering the continuum of understanding the root causes for radicalisation, whole of society engagement approaches, the effective legal and policy responses, prison management approaches, and rehabilitation and reintegration strategies.
