On Wednesday, 31st January 2024, Thomas Renard was interviewed by the Belgian news magazine Knack about the newly released ICCT Press book "Female Jihadis Facing Justice: Comparing Approaches in Europe".
"Female Jihadists are not necessarily less radical", Thomas said. "In Belgium and France, the vast majority are female who travelled to Syria and were convicted to became members of a terrorist organisation", he added.
