On Friday 10th of November 2023, Thomas Renard was quoted by De Tijd, a Belgian newspaper, on how the youth in Belgium and wider Europe is becoming prone to radicalisation and extremism.
He commented "IS branches in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan are posting plenty of devious videos. They pump us-versus-them ideas into the minds of minors with shocking images and emotional messages."
