ICCT’s New Associate Fellows for Rule of Law Responses to Terrorism

The International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT) is proud to announce the eleven new Associate Fellows for our programme on Rule of Law Responses to Terrorism. Our fellows come from backgrounds spanning academia, policy-making and provision of legal analysis on topical countering terrorism issues. The Associate Fellows will publish in the ICCT journal and will contribute to the body of work conducted by the Rule of Law Responses to Terrorism Programme.  Our Associate Fellows for Rule of Law Responses to Terrorism are:

  • Andrea Bianchi, Full Professor of International Law, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva
  • Fiona de Londras, Professor of Global Legal Studies, University of Birmingham
  • Ahmad El-Muhammady, Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation (ISTAC), International Islamic University Malaysia
  • Seamus Hughes, Deputy Director of the Program on Extremism, George Washington University
  • Sidney Jones, Founder and Senior Adviser, Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict (Jakarta)
  • Allan Ngari, Regional Organised Crime Observatory Coordinator for West Africa, in the Enhancing Africa’s Responses to Organised Crime (ENACT), Institute for Security Studies (ISS)
  • Ben Saul, Challis Chair of International Law, University of Sydney
  • Letta Tayler, Associate Director in the Crisis and Conflict Division, Human Rights Watch
  • Bibi van Ginkel, Founder of The Glocal Connection – Platform for Shared Security
