Daniel Milo holds a doctorate in criminal law from Comenius University in Bratislava. His main fields of expertise are hybrid threats, extremism, paramilitary groups, and the use of disinformation by foreign actors. He has published or co-authored several publications on these issues, such as GLOBSEC Trends or analytical reports mapping the links between the Kremlin and far-right political actors. His previous work experience includes the role of coordinator of anti-extremist policies in the Office of the Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, special adviser to the Minister of Justice on extremism, senior research fellow at GLOBSEC, and director of the Centre for Countering Hybrid Threats at Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic. He currently teaches a course on the use of hybrid threats in international relations at Comenius University.
