Francesco joined the ICCT in January of 2023. He pursued a BA in International Affairs with minors in Economics and Legal Studies at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. Currently, Francesco is researching for his thesis to complete a LLM in European Law at Leiden University. Throughout his studies, Francesco has explored the multifaceted reality of terrorism and radicalisation from the normative perspective of international and humanitarian law.
Prior to joining the ICCT as part of the editorial team, Francesco has worked as a Political Analyst for The New Global Order: an international think thank devoted to bring accessible information and analysis on global governance. There, Francesco is part of the EU affairs team as well as being a member of the Editorial Board. His main area of research are the area of the CFSP and EU External action, and the intersection between economic policies and CT.
