Leena Malkki

Dr. Leena Malkki is a historian and political scientist specialised in the study of terrorism and political violence. She currently holds a position of University Lecturer at the Centre for European Studies, University of Helsinki. Her fields of interest include political violence in post-war Europe, counterterrorism policy development in Finland, dynamics of terrorist campaigns, transnational diffusion of extremist narratives and political and societal resilience to terrorism. She also previously served as an ICCT Editorial Board member.
