Otto Meinardus

Otto joined the ICCT in January of 2023. He received an honors BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Leiden University College in 2022 where he majored in World Politics. There he wrote his thesis on right-wing radicalization in the German military. He is currently pursuing a MSc in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University with a specialization in Cybersecurity. 

Prior to joining ICCT, Otto led LUC.ID, a digital media committee at his university which aimed to use photography and videography in order to document and showcase the identity of Leiden University. His main areas of interest for research include right-wing extremism, radicalisation & de-radicalisation processes and online (counter-) extremism.
