On Saturday 21st of October 2023, Adrian Shtuni was interviewed by Il Piccolo, an Italian newspaper, on Italy's decision to suspend the Schengen treaty and reinstate border controls with Slovenia, citing increased terror threat.
"The risk is real, but reinstating border controls is not a solution", he commented.
