On Thursday, 01st February 2024, the Belgian newspaper Grenz-Echo (in German language) published an article about the newly released ICCT Press book "Female Jihadis Facing Justice: Comparing Approaches in Europe".
"In the past, the judiciary was milder towards female than male IS terrorists. This emerges from an analysis of 283 judgments of the courts in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands published on Wednesday", the news site wrote on the book.
