ICCT in the Media: Teun van Dongen on Dealing With the Threats of Radicalisation and Terrorism

On 7 June, Teun van Dongen was invited to participate in an interview with Radio Kerry on dealing with the threats of radicalisation and terrorism. Teun discussed some of Islamic State's recruitment tactics, as well as why people fall under the spell of far-right white extremists. Teun highlighted the importance of being aware of the continuously developing trends and nature of these phenomena, such as the role of the internet in radicalisation processes. Furthermore, Teun discussed the significance of developing informed, empirical grounding for decision-making connected to these issues.
