On April 8, the Parliament magazine published an article discussing the long-term risks of the EU's management of external borders.
As part of the article, a finding from an ICCT report was highlighted, showing that of the 55 perpetrators involved in 43 terrorist attacks in Europe between 2014 and 2024, only five had been in the EU for less than a year; meanwhile, the remainder were either born in Europe or had lived there for at least five years.
