On Monday, 22nd of April 2024, Borealis Threat and Risk Consulting Ltd interviewed Lynn Schneider on children of violent extremists.
Lynn Schneider stated about how extremism affects child development, "First, I think it's really important to emphasize that families are very diverse there is not one type of extremist families, so what children experience can be very unique, and when we talk about children in violent extremism, and terrorism afflicted families everyone wants to know how indoctrinated are they and they just assume there is just this causal relationship between having an extremist parent and being ideological indoctrinated yourself there are some studies that show about for example white supremacist in the US that they actively try to hide their neo nazi identity from their children so we can necessarily that all right-wing extremists parents also try to indoctrinate their children".
