New ICCT Director: Mark Singleton

The International Centre for Counter-Terrorism – The Hague (ICCT) is pleased to announce that Mark Singleton will start as the new director of ICCT on 1 September 2014. Singleton brings more than 25 years of experience in the international peace, security and development sector. He previously was the Acting Head of Mission at the Office of the Quartet Representative, Tony Blair, in Jerusalem. Before this Singleton was a Special Advisor at the United Nations Special Coordinator’s Office for the Middle East Peace Process. Mr. Singleton has also worked at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was the Country Director for the Dutch development organisation SNV in Mali. Singleton will replace the current ICCT Director Peter Knoope who has headed the Centre since its inception.
