On Tuesday, 31 January, ICCT director Thomas Renard was interviewed by European Eye on Radicalization (EER) about his latest book, The Evolution of of Counter-Terrorism Since 9/11 (Routledge, September 2021). In the interview, Renard dicusses how terrorism has evolved since the nineteenth century while highlighting some of the most important developments in the field such as the creation of the Islamic State and its consequences in Syria, Iraq and Europe.
