"Obama's foreign policy legacy in three quotes" examines the rhetoric used by the Obama administration in the context of the Syrian war, the perceived threat from Russia and the rise of so-called Islamic State (IS). To maintain credibility and legitimacy, Dr. Haroro J. Ingram argues that political actors have to understand the implications of their rhetoric and a potential 'say-do' gap.
