On 9 November, ICCT Research Fellow Wietse van den Berge's interview with the Habilian Association was published by Mehr News Agency. The article "Jihadist groups fragmented, but sharing common goal" explores different types of radicalisation: Wietse van den Berge believes that 'neither ideology nor religion is actually a cause for radicalisation'. Additionally, he comments on the development of so-called Islamic State (IS) and identifies future regions at risk of Jihadi-Salafist narratives.
