Hanna Rigault Arkhis

Hanna joined the ICCT in August 2021 as an intern for the Current & Emerging Threats Programme. Hanna holds a bachelor in International Relations & Organisations for which she wrote her thesis "Do not fear, we are at war" providing an analysis of political discourse after the 2016 terror attacks in Brussels, Berlin and Nice. She recently graduated from the Leiden University Master of Crisis & Security Management during which she specialised in the Governance of Radicalism, Extremism and Terrorism. Her main research interests are the links between far-right extremism and the military, the role of women within far-right extremism and violence in the Sahel region. Before working at the ICCT, Hanna completed an internship with the Education & Events Team at the TMC Asser Instituut. Next to her studies, she has been deeply involved in Leiden University's community and student representation through various organisations.
